KD Collectibles – Gogeta vs Broly
KD Collectibles is back in Dragon Ball Super with a 1/4 diorama that puts Gogeta and Broly in a clean, readable clash. The scene pushes power from the base up through Gogeta’s strike, which makes the pose read well even a few meters away
What stands out in the prototype
The studio notes this is an advanced prototype and calls out layered paint work with gradient shading across skin, fabric, and effects. The base includes a full light-up system that runs like lava through the rockwork, which helps the energy read without washing out paint. Expect small cleanup on the final production since the sample has been handled through multiple revisions.
Size, features, and what to plan for
Retailers list the statue at roughly 72 cm tall × 58 cm deep × 80 cm wide, with LEDs included. Give it real depth so Broly’s torso and the energy effects don’t crowd nearby pieces. If you light shelves, you can keep the LEDs off and still get good contrast because the sculpt relies on paint gradients rather than trick lighting.
Edition size and timing
You’ll see two sets of numbers online. Early pre-order pages showed 88 units and a 2024 target. Newer listings show 150 pieces and an ETA of Q1 2026. Treat the 2026 window as the current working date, and confirm contents with your seller before you pay the balance.
Why it works on a shelf
The composition is tight for a versus diorama, the eye line flows from Gogeta’s hand through Broly’s chest, and the LED path in the base pulls attention up instead of sideways. It pairs well with other KD 1/4 Dragon Ball releases if you keep at least 60 cm of shelf depth free
